Our new book is out!

Diana, Ryan, and I published our latest book, A Climate Agenda for System Change: from Theory to Social Transformation. The book outlines how ideology stands in the way for social change, even among those who see climate change as a serious problem and want to fix it. The book outlines what an agenda for system change would entail, providing specific ideas and proposals that go beyond business as usual approaches we have become accustomed to. We identify challenges and barriers to change but put forth our ideas for how system change could occur.

We published the book with MayFly, which is open access, allowing you to purchase the book or to simply download the book for free from their website (https://mayflybooks.org/climate-agenda-for-system-change/). The press has a unique ethos, working to disseminate ideas as freely as possible. They also use an interesting editorial process, calling it an editorial collective, drawing on scholars and others who see the value in having a counterweight to corporate publishing houses. The editors donate their time, despite the time and energy required to work with authors and provide a robust review process prior to publication. We feel really good about publishing with MayFly.

We would love to hear your feedback about the book. And we hope you like it!
